Byblos is the first Phoenician Mediterranean city which is located in Mount Lebanon or as called in Arabic: Jubayl (جبيل). It is believed to have been founded around 5000 BC. Today it is considered to be the oldest continuously-inhabited city in the world.
Enjoy the pics I snapped during my short tour in Byblos Castle which was built by the crusaders in the 12th century. It is located in the archaeological site near the port.
